Sheriff's Office Equipment Testing/Evaluation

*** Notice to residents in the Morris Dido Road/ The Resort/ Indian Creek area of Tarrant County ***

On Wednesday, September 21st, 2016, the Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office with be testing and evaluating equipment that will require firearms to be discharged during darkness. The Sheriff’s Office will begin testing this equipment beginning at approximately 04:00 am.

We are making this notification due to the fact we are diligent in controlling the hours we use the range for training purposes and would like to prevent as much alarm as possible. It has been a number of years since we have discharged firearms for training purposes during these hours and ask that you bear with us as we perform this necessary task.
